Australian tv series Neighbours announces farewell tour for UK audiences

As the Australian TV soap Neighbours bids a final farewell, it has been announced cast from the long-running show will head to the UK next year for Neighbours – The Farewell Tour.

Presented by Maple Tree Entertainment in collaboration with Fremantle Australia, Neighbours – The Farewell Tour will be a chance for UK audiences to say a final farewell to the much loved soap.

This show promises to be the ultimate celebration of all things Ramsay Street with some of the biggest names from the show set to appear in person. The show will look back at footage from across the years, enjoy never before heard stories from the cast as they are interviewed live on the stage, plus surprises and a q&a session at the end.

Neighbours: The Farewell tour will open at Bridgewater Hall Manchester on Monday 6 March 2023, followed by Festival Hall Edinburgh (8 March), Royal Concert Hall Glasgow (10 March), St Davids Hall Cardiff (12 March), The Palladium in London (14 March), Symphony Hall Birmingham (16 March), The Brighton Centre Brighton (18 March) and the Mayflower Southampton (19 March).

After 37 years on screen, Neighbours wrapped filming on the final episode this week. The final episode is rumoured to see many of the great names returning to Ramsay Street for one final appearance – stars rumoured to have shot scenes include Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce. It will be a sad day for many in the UK – hence the farewell tour – as the show continues to be very popular on Channel 5. Tune in for the final episode and then head to the Farwell Tour next year.
