The music of the late great composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim will be celebrated at a special concert at Cadogan Hall in July.
Performing songs will be some of the West End’s favourite stars including Janie Dee (Follies), Rosalie Craig (Company, City of Angels), Jenna Russell (Merrily We Roll Along, Sunday In The Park with George), Danielle de Niese (The Man of La Mancha, The Marriage of Figaro), Jamie Parker (The History Boys, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Guys and Dolls, A Little Night Music), Courtney Bowman (Legally Blonde), Lucca Chadwick-Patel (Broken Wings), Lorna Dallas (Side by Side by Sondheim, Hello, Dolly!) and Danny Whitehead (Wicked, Passion).
The evening will feature songs from Sondheim’s acclaimed catalogue including music from A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Passion, Follies, Into The Woods, Merrily We Roll Along and more.
Audiences can expect to hear the original orchestrations of his work played by the Luminaire Orchestra under the musical direction of Alex Parker.
SONDHEIM will be performed at Cadogan Hall on Saturday 23 July 2022 at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale.
