The Olivier Awards took place last night, Sunday 10 April 2022, at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

A glittering night saw the best of British theatre gather to celebrate the year, and hand out awards for achievement in theatre, opera and dance.

Carabet won the most awards, grabbing seven gongs including Best Revival of a Musical, and Best Actor and Actress in a Musical for Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley. Best Play went to Life of Pi at the Wyndham’s Theatre, with its star, Hiran Abeysekera, winning Best Actor.
