Hollywood superstar Ben Stiller takes the lead in a new London stage adaptation of Stephen King’s classic horror story, The Shining.
Ben Stiller plays the lead role of Jack Torrance in the play, which is a brand new stage adaptation of Stephen King’s novel by Simon Stephens, directed by Ivo van Hove.
Ben Stiller is an American actor, comedian, producer, film director, and screenwriter. Ben is predominantly famous for being a movie actor, with his first major breakout film, Reality Bites, seeing him co-star, direct and write the movie.
He has gone on to write, star and direct or produce more than 50 films, including The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Zoolander, The Cable Guy, There’s Something About Mary, the Meet the Parents trilogy, DodgeBall, Tropic Thunder, the Madagascar series, and the Night at the Museum trilogy.
Ben’s multiple TV credits include numerous comedy shows, award shows and variety TV, from Saturday Night Live to Arrested Development, plus his own 13 episode series, The Ben Stiller Show for MTV,
His stage work includes the 2011 Broadway revival of John Guare’s House of Blue Leaves with Edie Falco and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
