Packed with larger-than-life characters, show-stopping musical numbers, slapstick comedy and a giant dose of festive cheer, this year’s pantomime promises to be the Lyric’s biggest and boldest yet.

Following the smash-hit successes of Aladdin, Cinderella and Dick Whittington, the Lyric once again welcomes back acclaimed writer Sonia Jalaly and director Nicholai La Barrie. Together, they bring their trademark blend of West London wit, playful anarchy and heartwarming humour to this much-loved fairytale.

This glittering cast includes Joey James (The X Factor, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical) as Jack, EastEnders and West End favourite John Partridge as Fleshcreep, Sam Harrison (Crazy For You) as Dame Trott, Sienna Widd (Stilleto) as Jill and Jade Hackett (Sylvia, Nine Night) as Fairy Godfather

What is Jack and the Beanstalk about?

It’s Jack and Jill’s first day at Fleshcreep Academy, the strictest school in Hammersmith, and there’s trouble brewing. Not only is their mum the chaotic new dinner lady but the headteacher has pupils on a tight leash: just three strikes and it’s off to the giant, whatever that means. This place could do with some magic – but where is Fairy Godfather hiding? Get ready for the climb of the lifetime as Jack reaches new heights to bring joy back to West London!
