Tamsin Greig recently starred in The Deep Blue Sea at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London, from 7 May 2025.

Tamsin Greig is also starring in Backstroke at the Donmar Warehouse, from 14 February 2025.

Tamsin is an Olivier Award winning actress best known for her television roles in Episodes, Green Wing, Love Soup and Friday night Dinner..

She won both an Olivier and The Critics Choice for Best Shakespearean Performance for Beatrice in the RSC’s production of Much Ado about Nothing and was Olivier nominated for her performance in the musical of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Tamsin’s recent stage credits include The Deep Blue Sea (Theatre Royal Bath), Peggy for You (Hampstead Theatre), Talking Heads Live: Nights in The Garden of Spain (Bridge Theatre), A Kind of Alaska/Landscape (Harold Pinter Theatre), Labour of Love (Noël Coward Theatre) andTwelfth Night (National Theatre)

Greig received both the Royal Television Society’s Award for Green Wing and BAFTA nominations for Episodes, Green Wing and Black Books.

Other notable televisions performances include Miss Bates in Emma, Edith Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank, Beth in White Heat, the ground breaking People Like Us, Happiness, Love Soup and most recently Guilty, a 3 part series for ITV, and Friday Night Dinner.

Tamsin’s film work includes Tamara Drewe directed by Stephen Frears, The Second Best Marigold Hotel and Breaking the Bank opposite Kelsey Grammar.
