Broadway and West End superstars Megan Hilty and Rachel Tucker will play Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw in a new concert production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle.

The classic Broadway musical – with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Leo Robin, and a book by Anita Loos and Joseph Fields – follows Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw, aboard a Paris-bound ocean liner, through a sharp and glamorous comedy featuring songs including ‘Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,’ ‘A Little Girl from Little Rock’ and ‘Bye Bye Baby.’ This new concert staging will also feature an orchestra of 30 musicians.

The concert plays the London Palladium for three performances on 26 and 27 March 2027.

Set aboard an ocean liner bound for Paris, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes follows showgirl Lorelei Lee and her best friend Dorothy Shaw through a sharp and glamorous comedy of love, money and mistaken intentions, featuring the classic songs “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” “A Little Girl from Little Rock” and “Bye Bye Baby.”

Lorelei has her sights set on a wealthy fiancé and no shortage of admirers keen to shower her in jewels, while the more grounded Dorothy searches for love on her own terms — and together the pair navigate a shipload of gentlemen, gold-diggers and comic misunderstandings before reaching Paris.
