New production images capture the immersive basketball-court world of Disney’s High School Musical, starring McFly’s Harry Judd and original film star KayCee Stroh.
New production images have been released for High School Musical, and they capture East High in full, glowing colour.
McFly’s Harry Judd takes on the role of Coach Bolton, while original High School Musical film star KayCee Stroh returns to the franchise as drama teacher Ms Darbus, pictured mid-flourish in a paisley shawl and leopard-print top beneath a “Performing Arts” sign reading “Juliet & Romeo.” Also featured are Curtis Patrick’s scene-stealing DJ Jack Scott, rollerskating behind a red-skirted booth, and the show’s take on golden couple Sharpay and Ryan Evans, dressed head-to-toe in matching pastel argyle and fluffy pink fur.
Bringing East High to London with an immersive basketball-court staging, the production reimagines the beloved Disney Channel film for the stage, complete with all the show’s most iconic songs, from Breaking Free to Get’cha Head in the Game and We’re All in This Together.
