Underbelly Boulevard has pulled back the curtain on its 2026 summer season, packing the heart of Soho with a curated mix of Edinburgh Fringe breakouts and international talent. Across June and July, the venue’s neon-lit stage will play host to a restless blend of sharp-tongued cabaret, nautical musical comedy, and mind-bending illusion.
A highlight of the Boulevard experience is the pacing. Most shows clock in at under 80 minutes, making them the perfect anchor for a night out. You can catch world-class entertainment and still be out in time for dinner or cocktails while the Soho night is just beginning.
Here’s what’s on at Underbelly Boulevard Soho this summer.
The Main Event: Laura Benanti: Nobody Cares
14 – 26 July 2026 | ⏱️ 65 Mins (No Interval)
After a sold-out, five-star run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe and a tantalising two-night teaser in Soho last year, Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti finally returns for a full London residency.
This isn’t your typical “sparkly” Broadway cabaret. A New York Times Critic’s Pick, Nobody Cares is Benanti at her most vulnerable and vicous. Blending original songs with razor-sharp stand-up, she dissects everything from “recovering ingénue” syndrome to the absurdity of modern motherhood.
Why you’ll love it: It’s raw, it’s riotous, and it proves why Benanti is beloved on Broadway.

The Crowd-Pleaser: Shantify
2 – 14 June 2026 | ⏱️ 90 Mins (Including Interval)
What happens when you take the world’s biggest pop anthems and give them a salty, nautical makeover? You get Shantify. Fresh from a massive 2025 Fringe run, The Barnacle Buoys bring their high-energy maritime madness back to London..
Expect floor-filling rock hits and musical theatre classics reimagined with big harmonies, inventive arrangements, and a serious amount of foot-stomping.
Why you’ll love it: Your favourite songs, but make them sea shanties. Loud, silly, and ridiculously fun.

The Mind-Bender: James Phelan - SHOWMAN
16 – 28 June 2026 ⏱️ 75 Mins
James Phelan isn’t just a magician; he’s the man who famously predicted the lottery and jammed the BBC switchboard. Making his highly anticipated London premiere at Underbelly, SHOWMAN is a five-star spectacle that leans into the psychology of the “impossible.”
Moving beyond standard card tricks, Phelan brings brand-new material that blends mind-reading with pure showmanship.
Why you’ll love it: You’ll come for the tricks and leave wondering if he’s actually psychic.

The Vocal Masterclass: Jess Robinson – Elton Reimagined
1 – 5 July 2026 | ⏱️ 60 Mins
Multi-award-winning impressionist Jess Robinson (BBC’s Dead Ringers) brings her five-star Fringe hit to Soho. In Elton Reimagined, she tackles the Rocket Man’s greatest hits through the voices of the world’s most iconic women.
Imagine “Tiny Dancer” sung by Britney Spears or “Your Song” through the lens of Barbra Streisand and Amy Winehouse. It’s a vocal tightrope walk that combines pitch-perfect mimicry with genuine musical virtuosity.
Why you’ll love it: Elton John meets Britney and Barbra – impressions that are as funny as they are spot-on.

The Wildcard: Frisky’s Remix Roulette
28 – 30 July 2026 | ⏱️ 60 Mins
If you like your cabaret with a side of chaos, Frisky’s Remix Roulette is the residency for you. The concept is dangerous: the audience picks the style, and Frisky and her band remix iconic tracks on the fly.
Want to hear a heavy metal version of a Madonna classic? Or Elton John reimagined as a drum and bass anthem? Every night is a one-off, genre-bending experiment that is the definition of a “Soho” night out.
Why you’ll love it: Unpredictable, high-energy, and completely audience-led.

The Heartstopper: The Ghost of White Hart Lane
31 July – 2 August | ⏱️ 70 Mins
Closing the season is Martin Murphy’s acclaimed one-man play. Centred on the life and legacy of legendary Spurs footballer John White, this production is a moving exploration of grief and identity. Following five-star reviews at the Fringe, it’s a powerful piece of storytelling that resonates whether you’re a football fanatic or have never stepped foot on a pitch.
Why you’ll love it: A moving true story that hits hard—this is theatre with real soul.
