Nick Mohammed to host the 2026 Olivier Awards

The Society of London Theatre has revealed the host of this year’s Olivier Awards 2026.

Stage and screen star Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso) will take up the hosting honours for the 2026 awards.

Nick follows last year’s hosts Billy Porter and Beverley Knight, and fellow Ted Lasso castmate Hannah Waddingham in 2023 and 2024.

2026 sees the Olivier Awards celebrate their 50th anniversary, and will take place on Sunday 12 April 2026 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

“To host the Oliviers in its 50th year is not only a dream come true but an absolute honour and privilege.” – Nick Mohammed

This year’s date and venue for the Olivier Awards were confirmed in December.

The 2026 awards will be broadcast by the BBC on the night of 12 April. Nominations for the awards will be unveiled later this week, on Thursday 5 March.
