Lyric Hammersmith Theatre has revealed full casting for its upcoming production of Dracula, a major new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic horror tale. Directed by Emma Baggott and written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, the production will run from 11 September to 11 October 2025.
Leading the cast is Umi Myers (Dope Girls, The Mirror and the Light) as Mina, Mei Mac (My Neighbour Totoro, untitled fck mss s**gon play) as Lucy and Jack Myers (Say Nothing, Masters of the Air) as Jonathan. The cast also features Phoebe Naughton (The Comedy of Errors) as Van Helsing, Macy Seelochan (As You Like It) as Jo, and B Terry (Cabaret) as Renfield. Casting is by Heather Basten CDG.
This adaptation centres on the female voices within the story, with Mina Harker taking a central role as the sole survivor recounting Dracula’s descent on London.

The creative team includes Grace Smart (set and costume design), Joshie Harriette (lighting design), Adam Cork – Composer and Sound Designer, Chi-San Howard – Movement Director, John Bulleid & Gareth Kalyan (illusion design), Bethan Clark (fight and intimacy direction), Annemette Verspeak (voice coach), Grainne Flynn (assistant director), Heather Basten CDG (casting director), Louisa Smith (casting associate, and Joyce Lulendo (casting assistant).
Lloyd Malcolm, known for Emilia and The Wasp, said: “There is a timeless obsession with Bram Stoker’s Dracula which has been so exciting to dig into so far and I can’t wait to work with Emma and our incredible cast and team to bring it to the stage.” She added “Horror has long been a genre I’ve loved and to be able to explore this classic story within the context of the scary times we’re living through has felt particularly important and exciting.”

Dracula will open as part of Lyric Hammersmith Theatre’s 130th anniversary season, with O’Riordan promising “bold storytelling that delights and shocks.”
Dracula runs from 11 September 2025 to 11 October 2025 at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre.
