With Red Nose Day less than two weeks away, stars of the West End stage, screen and sport are getting red-y for Friday 21 March by modelling this year’s collection of Red Noses.

Comic Relief turns 40 this year, and a number of West End stars are showing their support. Emma Flynn, who plays Cher in brand new West End musical Clueless at the Trafalgar Theatre, has donned a 90s red nose; as has Broadway and West End star Marisha Wallace, who is currently starring as Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.

Michelle Visage, who is a co-producer on new musical Scissorhandz at Southwark Playhouse Elephant, is modelling this year’s Rare Ruby Nose.

Also supporting Red Nose Day is Oti Mabuse, who is touring her new show Oti Mabuse – Viva Carnival this year, including one night only at the West End’s Adelphi Theatre on 24 June.

Long-term Comic Relief supporters, Anneka Rice, Julian Clary, and Sir Tony Robinson have all taken a trip down memory lane by donning Red Noses that they were first pictured wearing in the 80s and 90s; and Aisling Bea, Beth Mead, Martin & Roman Kemp, and Shona McGarty have also popped on red noses in support.

Martin Kemp said in a statement: “As a parent, there was always something so magical about getting your hands on the new Red Noses and seeing the kid’s faces light up. They’ve always been an instant crowd pleaser in the Kemp household. With Red Nose Day just around the corner, make sure you hop onto Amazon and grab your Nose. With Comic Relief hitting the big 4-0 this year, let’s come together and make this year’s Red Nose Day one to remember by having a laugh and helping to raise vital funds that make a massive difference to those who need it the most.”

Michelle Visage said: “It’s no secret that I LOVE the UK and one thing that keeps me coming back is the British sense of humour. Comic Relief is hitting the big 4-0, so it’s a perfect time to do something funny and raise money to help others. Whether it’s buying your Red Nose from Amazon, or Red Nose Day T-shirt from TK Maxx, be sure to wear it with pride. Because there’s nothing more fabulous than giving back to others, having a laugh and getting involved!”

Money raised by the Red Noses will help provide vital funds for incredible projects that help children to be happier, families stronger, women safer, communities prouder and millions of lives fairer.

Red Noses and select merchandise are available to buy now on Amazon.

Red Nose Day is on Friday 21 March 2025.
