Two forthcoming theatre awards ceremonies have announced their hosts.
The Stage Awards 2025 will be hosted by actors Rob Madge and Ellie-May Sheridan.
The awards are taking place at the Royal Opera House in its Linbury Theatre on Monday 20 January 2025.
Rob Madge received a Best West End Creative Debut at the 2023 The Stage Debut Awards for writing and performing in My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do?). Rob is currently starring in Robin Hood at the London Palladium.
Ellie-May Sheridan was awarded Best Performer in a Play at The Stage Debut Awards 2024 for playing Jenny Wren in London Tide at the National Theatre.
Special performances at this year’s awards will include Starlight Express star Jeevan Braich.
Nominations for this year’s The Stage Awards were announced on 19 December 2024.
Also announced today are the hosts of this year’s WhatsOnStage Awards 2025.
The awards will be hosted by actors Gina Murray and Mazz Murray, with the awards ceremony taking place at the London Palladium on 9 February 2025.
Mazz Murray is a West End star who is currently playing Donna in hit ABBA musical Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre in London. Her other stage credits include We Will Rock You, Chicago and Fame.
Sister of Mazz Murray, Gina Murray, has starred in numerous West End shows including Chicago, Fame and The Roy Orbison Story, plus tours including Hairspray.
Nominations for this year’s WhatsOnStage Awards were announced on 5 December 2024.
