Once banned for its bold critique of societal hypocrisy, Mrs Warren’s Profession is a gripping exploration of power, poverty, and personal freedom. Staunton stars as the formidable Mrs. Kitty Warren, whose controversial past collides with the values of her fiercely independent daughter, Vivie, played by Carter. Together, they bring Shaw’s biting humour and fiery debates to the stage, making this timeless drama as provocative and relevant as ever.
This extraordinary revival reunites Staunton and Cooke following their acclaimed productions of Hello, Dolly! and Follies.

Her mother, however, is a product of that old patriarchal order. Exploiting it has earned Mrs. Warren a fortune and paid for her daughter’s expensive education – but at what cost?
