Acclaimed play Lady Dealer by award-winning playwright Martha Watson Allpress comes to the Bush Theatre in London following a smash-hit run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Directed by Evening Standard Future Theatre Award winner Emily Aboud (SPLINTERED), Lady Dealer sees Alexa Davies (Dead Pixels, Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again) reprise her starring role in this mile-a-minute hit.

Selected by Playbill as a Pick Of The Fringe 2023, Lady Dealer has also been shortlisted for a number of major playwriting awards including the BBC Writer’s Room Popcorn Award 2023, Holden Street Theatres’ Edinburgh Fringe Award 2023, Filipa Bragança Award 2023 & the Verity Bargate Award 2022.

Lady Dealer is playing at the Bush Theatre from 15 May to 15 June 2024.

For Charly, every day is the same: neck some coffee, answer the phone, sell some drugs. The flat she once shared with her ex, Clo, is now the base of her growing business. And she’s fine with that. She’s fine! Charly is fine.

But when a power cut hits her estate and the burner phone stops buzzing she is forced to question exactly how fine she is. Desperate to escape the swell of feeling bubbling beneath the surface, Charly charges head first into a world of knockoff Morrissey’s, disapproving mothers, and the ghosts of girlfriends past.
