A new teaser trailer has come in for David Ireland’s award-winning comedy Ulster American, playing at the Riverside Studios starring Woody Harrelson, Andy Serkis and Louisa Harland.
This brutally funny social satire starts performances at the Riverside Studios on 4 December 2023, and runs to 27 January 2024.
A high-profile cast includes Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson (True Detective, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) – back on stage in London for the first time in 2 decades, playing Oscar-winning actor Jay Conway.
He is joined by BAFTA and Emmy award-winner Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Batman) as English director Leigh Carver, plus Louisa Harland (Derry Girls, Dancing at Lughnasa) as Northern Irish playwright Ruth Davenport.
The play is directed by Jeremy Herrin, with set and costume design by Max Jones, lighting design by Oliver Fenwick, sound design by Emma Laxton, casting by Jessica Ronane CDG with Nicky Allpress as Associate Director.
Ulster American is produced by Second Half Productions.
