The Comedy of Errors is back at Shakespeare’s Globe for Summer 2024.
The Summer 2023 hit returns, bringing with it the joy and chaos of Elizabethan London, transforming the Globe Theatre into a bustling dock – complete with ship masts and piers.
Shakespeare’s wild comedy about rival cities, long-lost siblings and mistaken identities is co-directed by Sean Holmes and Naeem Hayat (Burnt at the Stake, Globe).
A fantastic cast includes Daniel Adeosun (Trouble in Mind) as Antipholus of Syracuse, Gabrielle Brooks (Once on This Island, Get Up Stand Up!) as Adriana, and Caleb Roberts (King Lear) as Antipholus of Ephesus.
The Comedy of Errors runs from 21 August 2024 to 27 October 2024 at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, London.
Two sets of twins are separated by a shipwreck and end up in rival cities. After twenty years apart, they inadvertently cross paths and set in motion a series of chaotic events that hurtles towards an extraordinary finale.
