The Winners of the 2019 British Academy Film Awards were announced at a ceremony hosted by Joanna Lumley at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on Sunday 10 February 2019.
The Favourite won seven BAFTAs including Oustanding British Film, Lead Actress for Olivia Coleman, Supporting Actress for Rachel Weiss, Original Screenplay, Costume Design, Production Design and Make Up & Hair.
Alfonso Cuarón‘s Roma won four awards including Best Film, Director, Cinematography and Film Not in the English Language.
Rami Malek won Leading Actor for Bohemian Rhapsody, with Mahershala Ali awarded Supporting Actor for Green Book and Letitia Wright winning the EE Rising Star Award for her performance in Black Panther.
Prenesters included Bill Nighy, Cate Blanchett, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ellen Page, Gary Oldman, Henry Golding, Jamie Bell, Joseph Fiennes, Luke Evans, Mary J Blige, Michelle Rodriguez, Michelle Yeoh, Regina King, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Sophie Okonedo and Taron Egerton.
