Christian Slater stars in Glengarry Glen Ross at the Playhouse Theatre
Christian Slater returns to the West End as smooth talking sales shark Ricky Roma in David Mamet’s cult classic Glengarry Glen Ross.
The Golden Globe winner is best known for his string of 80s and 90s films including cult films Heathers with Winona Ryder and True Romance, as well as big budget films Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Interview with the Vampire, FernGully: The Last Rainforest, Broken Arrow, and Hard Rain.
His long and prolific career includes over 70 films, as well as numerous television roles including The West Wing, Alias and starring roles in Breaking In and Mind Games.
In recent years Christian Slater has returned to prominence with his Golden Globe winning performance in US series Mr Robot and film roles in King Cobra opposite James Franco and Nymphomaniac.
His forthcoming films include, Bjorn Runge’s adaptation of Meg Wolitszer’s novel, The Wife and Emilio Estevez’s film The Public.
Slater’s last West End performance was in Swimming with Sharks at the Vaudeville Theatre. His other theatre credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at the Gielgud/Garrick Theatre, Spamalot at the Hollywood Bowl and The Glass Menagerie, opposite Jessica Lange, on Broadway.
