THE STORY
The show follows Matilda as she deals with her self-focused parents by escaping into books. At school she finds an ally in the kindly teacher Miss Honey, but she and the other children must battle with stern headmistress Miss Trunchbull. Using her special powers, she not only helps her fellow students, but Miss Honey as well.
