Beverley Knight takes the lead role in musical The Bodyguard at the Adelphi Theatre.
Beverley Knight has joined the cast of West End musical The Bodyguard, replacing Heather Headley in the star role.
Major West End musical The Bodyguard plays at the Adelphi Theatre in London, directed by Thea Sharrock and featuring songs made famous by Whitney Houston.
Beverley Knight plays Rachel Marron in the show, the role immortalised on film by the late Whitney Houston.
Beverley is know as the Queen of British Soul and is one of Britain’s best-loved recording artists having a number of Top 10 albums, including the platinum-selling Voice: The Best of Beverley Knight, and having sold over a million albums in the UK alone.
Her live performances include singing at the finale of the London 2012 Paralympics Opening Ceremony, supporting Prince at his O2 shows in 2007 and Take That on their reunion arena tour. She has also toured extensively across the UK and sold out London’s Royal Albert Hall on three occasions.
