Adam Cooper is an English actor, dancer, and choreographer best known for his work in the West End and on Broadway.
Born on May 10, 1976 in London, Cooper trained at the Royal Ballet School before embarking on a successful career as a dancer.

Cooper made his West End debut in 1999 in the hit musical Saturday Night Fever, and went on to star in a number of other productions, including Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre, Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, Jonathan Church’s production of Singin’ in the Rain, The Light in the Piazza, On Your Toes and The Wind in the Willows and Zorro on tour in the UK.
In 2007, he made his Broadway debut in the revival of A Chorus Line, for which he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical.
With the Adventures in Motion Pictures Company as well as playing the Angel in Cinderella, he created the award-wining role of the Swan in Swan Lake, which, after opening at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, transferred to the West End, LA and Broadway. As a member of the Royal Ballet Company (1989-97) his numerous credits include Romeo and Juliet, Myerling, The Judas Tree, Onegin and La Ronde.
Cooper has also appeared in a number of films and television shows, including The Seagull, The Little Mermaid, and Elizabeth: The Golden Age. He has also choreographed a number of productions, including Guys and Dolls and The Nutcracker.
Cooper has won numerous awards for his work, including the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical and the Critics’ Circle National Dance Award for Best Male Dancer. Today, he continues to perform and choreograph on both sides of the Atlantic.
