Eddie Redmayne starred as ‘Emcee’ in Rebecca Frecknall’s West End revival of Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre in London.
He won a 2022 Olivier Award for his performance, as Best Actor in a Musical.

He has just wrapped Tobias Lindholm’s The Good Nurse and prior to that, the latest instalment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise.
Eddie Redmayne was most recently seen in Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7. Other film credits include The Theory of Everything, The Danish Girl, Les Miserables, My Week with Marilyn, Early Man and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
Tv roles include Birdsong for the BBC, The Pillars of Earth, Tess of the d’Urbervilles with Gemma Arterton, Elizabeth I and Doctors.
On stage his credits include Richard II (Donmar Warehouse), Red (Donmar Warehouse/Broadway), Now or Later (Royal Court), Hecuba (Donmar Warehouse), The Goat or Who is Sylvia (Almeida/West End).
Eddie Redmayne is scheduled to appear in Cabaret until 20 March 2022.
