Chichester Festival Theatre has announced its new season for 2014, with some big-hitting shows and stars set to appear and a number of shows with West End transfer potential.
Stars lined up for the new season include Rupert Everett, Imelda Staunton, Sophie Thompson, Peter Polycarpou, David Haig, Penelope Wilton, Rosalie Craig, Zoë Wanamaker, Patricia Routledge and Dervla Kirwan.
Peter Polycarpou and Gary Wilmot join the cast of The Pajama Game at the Shaftesbury Theatre Further casting has been announced for Richard Eyre’s Chichester revival of The Pajama Game, which is playing the Shaftesbury Theatre from 2 May 2014. Peter Polycarpou, Gary Wilmot and Colin Stinton will join the cast of the show, alongside already-announced leads Joanna Riding and Michael Xavier. Peter Polycarpou and Colin Stinton will both reprise their roles as Vernon Hines and Hasler in the show, and Gary Wilmot will join the cast taking over the role of Vernon Hines from 2 June.
