Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s Highly Acclaimed Production Of The Gershwin Musical Crazy For You Transfers To London’s West End

The Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre smash hit Gershwin musical CRAZY FOR YOU will transfer to London’s West End, opening at the Novello Theatre on Friday 7 October. Cameron Mackintosh, who was full of praise when he saw the show in Regent’s Park, is thrilled to be able to play host to the production in one of his theatres. CRAZY FOR YOU reunites director Timothy Sheader and choreographer Stephen Mear, who were responsible for the multi-award winning production of Hello, Dolly!.

Mamma Mia! Hits Its 5000th Performance In London

MAMMA MIA! reaches another milestone tonight, Thursday 17 March, at the Prince of Wales Theatre, when the show celebrates its 5000th performance in London. Producer of MAMMA MIA! worldwide, Judy Craymer, is delighted: “I am so proud that the London show, which started the whole ball rolling with stage productions around the world and the international success of the film, is celebrating its 5000th performance in London. BILLY ELLIOT From 31 May Genevieve Lemon will join the cast of Billy Elliot in London at the Victoria Palace Theatre. She will play Billy’s dance teacher Mrs Wilkinson, played in the movie by Julie Walters. Australian actress Lemon has appeared in numerous musicals and plays including Billy Elliot in Sydney.
