Tomorrow, Saturday 3 September 2011, the West End production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical will celebrate its dazzling 1000th performance at the Palace Theatre. Oscar®, Tony and Olivier award-winning Priscilla Queen of the Desert tells the story of three friends who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. They hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed.
Ray Meagher, best known on television for playing Alf Stewart in the long running Australian soap Home and Away, will re join the West End cast of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical as mechanic Bob from 5 October 2011, following his hugely successful run in the show last year. With booking now open at the Palace Theatre until 7 January 2012, Meagher joins Don Gallagher (Bernadette), Richard Grieve (Tick) and Oliver Thornton (Adam) in the internationally award-winning musical at the Palace Theatre.
