Theatre impressario Cameron Mackintosh has seen his personal fortune top £1 billion for the first time. The West End producer has seen his fortune rise by a staggering £175m in the past year, and is now worth £1 billion. His 2013 fortune in the Sunday Times’ annual Rich List was £825 million. BBC Films has announced its new slate for the Cannes Film Festival and it includes a new film adaptation of hit play The Lady In The Van.
