David Gilmore, Artistic Director of the St. James Theatre, today announces the next production at the St. James Theatre. Scenes from a Marriage, written by Ingmar Bergman, adapted by Joanna Murray-Smith and directed by Trevor Nunn will run from 11 September to 09 November. The press night will take place on 16 September 2013, almost exactly one year since the theatre’s first press night, for Bully Boy by Sandi Toksvig, which took place on 18 September 2012.
Major cast changes will take place in the smash hit Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA” at Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End from Monday 2 September 2013. Fresh from his success as Jean Valjean in “Les Misérables” at the Queen’s Theatre Gerónimo Rauch will join the cast as ‘The Phantom’.
From 3 September 2013, James Clyde will join the adult company in London as Mr Wormwood, Lisa Davina Phillip as Mrs Phelps and Joshua Wyatt as Michael Wormwood. As previously announced, they will join Olivier Award nominated Canadian actor Alex Gaumond in the role of Miss Trunchbull and Kay Murphy as Mrs Wormwood.
