British acting legend Dame Elizabeth Taylor has died at the age of 79. Here we reflect on her stage career.

Last Chance To See Grease In The West End At The Piccadilly Theatre

Following a triumphant run of nearly four years, the smash hit musical Grease will close in London at the end of its current West End run on Saturday 30 April 2011. Grease returned to London on 25 July 2007 and since its premiere the show has played over 1,500 performances and entertained audiences totalling more than 1 ½ million people at the Piccadilly Theatre where it opened to public acclaim and is now the longest running show in the venue’s history. Grease will begin a new tour this spring (the first in over five years) opening at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 6 May 2011.

Bush Theatre Announces The 32 Degrees West Season

Today Artistic Director Josie Rourke announces the Bush Theatre’s 32 Degrees West Season – the angle from the front door of the company’s current home of 39 years, to the new home at the old Library in Shepherd’s Bush where they will relocate this autumn.

TV and stage actress Natalie Casey is to take over as Paulette in Legally Blonde The Musical, replacing Denise Van Outen.

Natalie Casey Joins The Cast Of The Olivier Award Winning Legally Blonde The Musical

From 26 April 2011 Natalie Casey will join the west end cast of the Olivier award-wining Legally Blonde The Musical to play ditzy beautician Paulette Buonofonté. She joins Susan McFadden as Elle Woods, Carley Stenson as Margot, Nicola Brazil as Serena, Siobhan Dillon as Vivienne and Peter Davison as Professor Callahan. Natalie Casey takes over the role from Denise Van Outen, whose last performance will be Saturday 23 April. From mid-June Lee Mead will join the west end cast to play Emmett Forrest.
