Increasingly shows are playing more matinees than ever, and on a greater range of days. Shows vary on which days they run a matinee performance, with most shows playing a matinee on a mid-week Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and on Saturdays. Sunday and Friday matinees are also growing in popularity with audiences.
