A new production of hit show Heathers the Musical arrives in London this month, playing at new London venue The Arts at Marble Arch through 22 August, before heading out on a UK tour. The musical has been a fan favourite since it made its debut in the UK in 2018.

Gerardine Sacdalan takes on the role of Veronica Sawyer, following her debut as Juliet in the UK tour of @Juliet, a performance that earned her a nomination for Best Professional Debut at the 2025 WhatsonStage Awards.

Joining her in the cast is Louis Hearsey (I Was a Teenage She-Devil) as Jason ‘J.D’ Dean, Liberty Stottor (Six the Musical) as Heather Chandler, Jessica Ibadin as Heather Duke and Lou Henry (Six the Musical) as Heather McNamara.

Long live the 80s

Based on the iconic 1989 cult film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Heathers first made its premiere in Los Angeles in 2013 before transferring off-Broadway in 2014. Since it made its UK premiere in 2018, Heathers has seen an explosion of popularity, with three smash-hit West End runs and three record-breaking UK and Ireland tours under its belt.

Heathers the Musical is directed by acclaimed American screen and stage director Andy Fickman, with choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Dan Samson, musical supervision by Jeremy Wootton and Will Joy and is produced by Bill Kenwright Ltd and Paul Taylor-Mills.
