The new photos capture Robert Icke’s acclaimed new adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, which is currently playing a strictly limited West End season until 20 June 2026.

The photos show Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink as Juliet and Hamnet star Noah Jupe as Romeo, in this major revival that marks the West End debuts for both Hollywood actors. An acclaimed cast
Sadie Sink (John Proctor is the Villain) as Juliet and Noah Jupe (Hamnet, A Quiet Place) as Romeo are joined in the production by Clare Perkins (The Wheel of Time; Player Kings, West End) as Nurse, John Marquez (Doc Martin; Pygmalion, The Old Vic) as Friar Laurence, Clark Gregg (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D; Good Night, and Good Luck, Broadway) as Capulet, and Kasper Hilton-Hille (Dear England, Troilus & Cressida, Shakespeare’s Globe) as Friar John and Mercutio.
The company is completed by Dylan Corbett-Bader as Benvolio, Eden Epstein as Lady Capulet, Alex Felton as Abraham, Ada Grey as First Servant, Aruna Jalloh as Tybalt, Caroline Moroney as Second Servant, David Shelley as Apothecary/Montague, Lewis Shepherd as Paris, and Alexander Uzoka as Gregory.

A visionary revival
Directed and adapted by Robert Icke (Oedipus, The Doctor), this production brings a visceral, modern energy to Shakespeare’s tragedy.
In Icke’s adaptation, a digital clock on stage counts down the minutes, heightening the sense of fate and time, while “Sliding Doors” moments suggest alternative paths for the star-crossed lovers.
Final weeks in London
Time is running out for London audiences to see Robert Icke’s revival before it leaves the West End.
The show has already been extended by a week to add a further 8 performances to its schedule, but must end its run at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 20 June 2026.
