Bank of Dave The Musical brings the true story of Dave Fishwick to the stage — a self-made businessman from Burnley who set out to challenge the banking system and support his local community.
Inspired by the Sunday Times bestselling book, BAFTA Award-winning documentary and hit Netflix film, this new musical tells the story of an unlikely hero taking on the financial establishment.
With a book and lyrics by Rob Madge and music by Pippa Cleary, the show combines sharp wit with big, uplifting musical numbers. It’s a story rooted in northern grit and determination, balanced with humour and warmth.
At its heart, Bank of Dave The Musical follows Dave as he leaves Burnley behind and heads to London, determined to take on the big banks and prove that finance can work for ordinary people.
