About Dark of the Moon the Musical

Set in the Appalachian Mountains, Dark of the Moon explores the clash between two worlds — a close-knit human community and a mystical realm of witches and warlocks.

Longing to live among humans, a young witch named John makes a dangerous pact that allows him to take human form. During his time in the town he meets Barbara Allen, a compassionate young woman whose kindness leads them to fall in love.

But their relationship unsettles the traditions of both worlds. Suspicion grows within the town while powerful forces from the mountains watch closely, reminding John that the promise made under the dark of the moon may come at a devastating cost.
