The cast of smash-hit London show Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular has made a guest appearance on CBBC children’s show Blue Peter.
The stars of Come Alive!, including Simon Bailey (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) as the Showman, joined Blue Peter in the studio for their Blue Peter’s Christmas Cracker TV special. You can now watch the special on BBC iPlayer here.
The BBC announced last month that Come Alive! would appear on Blue Peter’s Christmas Cracker for a show-stopping performance, as part of its line-up of musical movies and televised stage productions this Christmas.
Come Alive! is currently playing at the Empress Museum in London, booking to 27 September 2026, and you can get Greatest Showman Circus Earl’s Court tickets here.
Inspired by the 20th Century Fox motion picture, Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular features a thrilling fusion of contemporary circus and the hit songs from The Greatest Showman movie, including This Is Me, Rewrite the Stars, and The Greatest Show.
Come Alive! on Blue Peter
Come Alive! recently celebrated its first birthday in London with a major gala event last month. The show’s success in London has also led to international ambitions, with producers confirming just last week that the circus spectacular is set to premiere in Australia.
Created by Simon Hammerstein, the London production stars Simon Bailey as the Showman, with Anoushka Tandon-Sangar as Max and Britain’s Got Talent’s Kai Hou as The Ringmaster.
In related news for fans of the franchise, Disney’s fully-staged The Greatest Showman – The Musical will play a limited run at Bristol Hippodrome from 15 March to 10 May 2026, with an all-star West End cast including Samantha Barks, Oliver Tompsett and Ben Joyce. The show is widely tipped to open in London at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Come Alive! is now playing at the Empress Museum in London until 27 September 2026.
