Golden Globe-winning actress and West End star Rachel Zegler is making a number of high-profile TV appearances in the UK this month.

Rachel will appear on Graham Norton’s chat show The Graham Norton Show on BBC1 (and BBC iPlayer) on 24 October, sharing the sofa with Kim Kardashian and Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Sarah Paulson.

Also appearing with Rachel will be Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, who is set to appear on stage in the West End next month, starring in All My Sons alongside Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Paapa Essiedu.

Rachel Zegler on Strictly Come Dancing

Rachel is also set to appear on BBC entertainment show Strictly Come Dancing, following her appearance on Graham Norton.

Rachel Zegler will perform on Strictly’s Sunday 26 October results show, singing Don’t Cry For My Argentina from Evita to accompany two of Strictly’s professional dancers.

In this Icons Week episode of Strictly, tributes will also be paid to pop star Britney Spears and others.

The promotion comes following her extraordinary performance in Jamie Lloyd’s new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical Evita at the London Palladium.

The London cast album of Evita is set for release soon, although no date has currently been confirmed.

The album features Rachel Zegler as Eva Peron, co-stars Diego Andres Rodriguez (Sunset Boulevard) as Che, James Olivas (American Idiot) as Juan Perón, Aaron Lee Lambert (Hamilton) as Agustín Magaldi and Bella Brown (Hadestown) as The Mistress / Alternate Eva, and the Palladium company.

Don’t Cry For Me Argentina performed by Rachel Zegler, was the first track to be unveiled from the new recording, reaching number 1 on the Official UK Vinyl Singles Chart on three occasions. Also released as a second single was Rainbow High.

Rachel recently performed her first London concert, with Rachel Zegler Live at the London Palladium selling out its two performances on 5 October 2025.

Earlier this month, Rachel picked up the Best West End Debut Performer Award, voted for by theatregoers, at The Stage Debut Awards 2025.

Strictly & the West End

Rachel is not the only West End star to feature on Strictly Come Dancing this year!

Last week, Tony Award-winner Cynthia Erivo (Wicked, Dracula, The Color Purple) returned to the show for Movie Week, as a guest mentor. The star of blockbuster movies Wicked and forthcoming Wicked: For Good, is returning to the West End stage next year, starring in Kip Williams’ new adaptation of Dracula, in a one-person show at the Noel Coward Theatre from 4 February 2026.

A contestant on the show is West End star Amber Davies, who joined Strictly Come Dancing after Dani Dyer had to pull out with a broken ankle. Amber is dancing with Nikita Kuzmin in the show, and The Great Gatsby and Back to the Future star was recently named the lead in a new UK and Ireland tour of Legally Blonde.

Rachel Zegler first rose to international fame when, at just 17, she was cast as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-winning film adaptation of West Side Story. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical, launching her as one of the brightest stars of her generation.

Her screen career has since expanded to include roles in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and Disney’s 2025 live-action Snow White, where she starred as the title princess.

On stage, Zegler’s credits include Romeo + Juliet on Broadway opposite Kit Connor, and Evita at the London Palladium — her first professional musical role. A lifelong fan of theatre since seeing a Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof at the age of four, she went on to appear in numerous school and amateur productions, including Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, 42nd Street, Shrek the Musical, Les Misérables and Thoroughly Modern Millie.
