Casting has been announced for the London premiere of award-winning musical This is My Family.
Written by Tim Firth (Our House) and directed by former Royal Court artistic director Vicky Featherstone (Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour), This is My Family is playing at Southwark Playhouse Elephant from 23 May to 12 July 2025.
The cast of the show features Game of Thrones star Gemma Whelan (Upstart Crow) as Yvonne, Hamilton star Michael Jibson (Stranger Things: The First Shadow) as Steve, Nancy Allsop (The Hills Of California) as Nicky, Victoria Elliott (Twelfth Night) as Sian, Luke Lambert as Matt, and Gay Soper (The Mousetrap) as May.

Joining Vicky Featherstone in the creative team are Music Supervisor Caroline Humphris; Set Designer Chloe Lamford; Lighting Designer Lee Curran; Sound Designer Dominic Bilkey; Costume Designer & Associate Set Designer Ethan Cheek; Music Director Natalie Pound; Casting Director Amy Ball CDG; and Associate Director Vaila Anderson.
This is My Family is billed as a hilarious and uplifting story of a disastrous family holiday that eventually brings the family together.
Produced by Anthology Theatre, the show won the UK Theatre Award for Best Musical in 2013 and is brought to London for the first time by Olivier award winners Tim Firth (Our House) and Vicky Featherstone (Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour).
This is My Family is running at Southwark Playhouse Elephant from 23 May to 12 July 2025.
