Boublil & Schönberg’s epic musical Les Misérables gets a brand new life as the nationwide Let The People Sing amateur project, celebrating 40 years of the iconic show.

In a major new initiative from Cameron Mackintosh, eleven amateur premieres of Les Miserables are opening across the UK, bringing the magic, passion and humanity of one of the world’s most beloved musicals.

The eleven amateur societies are working with other local groups to produce the best possible community-wide productions of the show, with the support and guidance of the show’s West End and international associate creative teams.

Winner of over 100 international awards and seen by over 65 million people worldwide, Les Misérables tells a powerful tale of love, redemption and revolution, set against the turmoil of post-revolutionary France.

This true modern classic is based on Victor Hugo’s timeless novel and features one of the most memorable scores of all time, including iconic songs like I Dreamed a Dream, One Day More and Bring Him Home.
