New musical Here You Come Again featuring the music of country music legend Dolly Parton is coming to London!

The show has been touring the UK since June, and will land at London’s Riverside Studios in time for Christmas, running from 10 December 2024 to 18 January 2025.

Here You Come Again is written by multi-Emmy award-winning comedy and songwriter Bruce Vilanch with Gabriel Barre, who also directs, and writer and actor Tricia Paoluccio, who stars in the show as Dolly Parton. Our very own Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing, Coronation Street) has also written additional material for the show.

Fully authorised by Dolly herself, Here You come Again is the first time Dolly’s hits have been brought together in one show, and includes iconic songs such as Jolene, 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, I Will Always Love You, Here You Come Again and more.

Alongside Tricia Paoluccio who is reprising her role as Dolly Parton following an acclaimed US run of the show, with further casting to be announced.

The story centres on Kevin, a 40-year-old has-been-who-never-was comedian whose imagined version of international icon Dolly Parton gets him through trying times.

The show’s wider creative team includes Set and Costume Designer Paul Wills; Choreographer Lizzie Gee; Lighting Designer Tim Deiling; Sound Designer Tom Marshall; Associate Director/Assistant Choreographer Teenie MacLeod; Illusion Designer Richard Pinner; Orchestrator Eugene Gwozdz; Orchestra Manager Maurice Cambridge; Production Manager Ben Arkell and Casting Director Stuart Burt.

Currently in Sheffield until 21 September, the show is also playing London’s Richmond Theatre from 24 September to 28 September, plus Glasgow, Norwich, Cheltenham, Woking, Salford, Bath, Milton Keynes, Blackpool, Liverpool.

Here You Come Again is running at the Riverside Studios from 10 December 2024 to 18 January 2025.

Following London, the tour then resumes with new 2025 dates including Grand Opera House, York (Tuesday 28 January – Saturday 1 February); Sunderland Empire (Tuesday 11 – Saturday 15 Feb) and New Theatre, Wimbledon (Tuesday 18 – Saturday 22 Feb).

Currently playing at Riverside Studios is award-winning comedy Kim’s Convenience until 26 October 2025.

A major new Broadway musical about Dolly Parton’s life, titled Hello, I’m Dolly!, is currently in the works in the US and also features her songs.
