Tony nominated Broadway star Keala Settle, best known for her knockout performance in hit movie The Greatest Showman, is leading the cast of a new musical in London next month.
Keala Settle will star in new American musical Fly More Than You Fall, which is running at Southwark Playhouse Elephant from 18 October to 23 November 2024.
Further casting is to be announced.
The uplifting and inspiring show is based on lived experiences, and navigates the subject of grief.
Keala played the bearded lady Lettie Lutz in the movie box-office winner The Greatest Showman, which is set to become a major new stage musical from Disney.
Keala is also starring in the new Wicked movie out later this year, playing Miss Coddle.
On Broadway Keala made her debut in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, played Madame Thenardier in Les Misérables and originated the role of Becky in Waitress. Other theatre credits include Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, and Bloody Mary in South Pacific.
Keala made her West End debut as Angélique in & Juliet and also starred in Sister Act.

The show is directed by Christian Durham, with Associate Director Georgie Rankcom; Movement Director Heather Douglas; Orchestrations & Arrangements Daniel Edmonds; General Manager James Steel Productions; Casting Director Pearson Casting CDG; and Lead Producer Marc David Levine.
