Chichester Festival Theatre has revealed first-look portrait photos of Jasper Talbot, Brenock O’Connor and Emer McDaid who play Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Marianne Faithfull, in Redlands.
Charlotte Jones riotous new play Redlands about the infamous 1967 drugs trial of the Rolling Stones begins performances at Chichester Festival Theatre from 20 September.
A fictional account, inspired by the famous trial, Redlands is a psychedelic and hugely entertaining account of possibly the most bizarre English court case ever held evokes a turning point in cultural history and the clash between the generations.

The cast
Brenock O’Connor plays Keith Richards – his TV credits include Alex Rider, Living the Dream and Game of Thrones. He performs his own music under the pseudonym McGovern.
Jasper Talbot who makes his theatrical debut as Mick Jagger, having recently graduated from RADA.
Emer McDaid plays Marianne Faithfull. Her credits include Witness for the Prosecution (London County Hall) and Game of Thrones.
The cast features Anthony Calf (One Day, The Gold, Plenty) as Michael Havers QC, Ben Caplan (Call The Midwife, Sunny Afternoon) as Allen Klein/George Harrison, Clive Francis (ENRON, The Circle) as Cecil Havers, Louis Landau (Butterfly, Rivals) as Nigel Havers, Olivia Poulet (The Thick of It, Top Girls) as Carol Havers..
The cast also includes Melody Chikakane Brown as Constable Slade/Daphne, Sam Pay as Inspector Dineley/Judge Block, Akshay Sharan as PC Willis/Vivek Chakrabarti, and Adam Young as Sniderman/Derek Carter. The ensemble includes Ella Tekere, Riley Woodford and Lara Rose McCabe.
From the page to stage
Redlands is written by Charlotte Jones (Humble Boy, National Theatre) and is directed by new Chichester Festival Theatre Artistic Director Justin Audibert. This new world premiere production is a fictional account of the 1967 Redlands trial of the Rolling Stones.
Audibert said ‘We really want to capture the rawness, energy, youth and vibrancy that the Rolling Stones were so famous for when they burst onto the scene in the 1960s. This enormously fun play should be a real feast for the senses.’
Joining Justin Audibert in the creative team are set designer Joanna Scotcher, costume designer Ryan Dawson Laight, lighting designer Matt Daw, composer and orchestrator Benjamin Kwasi Burrell, sound designer Claire Windsor, musical director Alan Berry, movement director Shanelle ‘Tali’ Fergus, associate director Julia Head and the casting director Ginny Schiller CDG.
