The acclaimed new production of Kiss Me, Kate is on its final 8 weeks in London.
The show must end on 14 September 2024, and has added an extra evening show on Tuesday 10 September due to demand.
Kiss Me, Kate is also running some free post-show events for ticket-holders, including Another Op’nin, Another Show – In conversation with Charlie Stemp, Georgina Onuorah and Hammed Animashaun, hosted by Amy Hart, running after the 7 August evening show.
Also, 5, 6, 7, 8 In conversation with Leading West End Choreographers will feature Strictly Come Dancing’s Oti Mabuse with guests Arlene Phillips and choreographer of Kiss Me, Kate Anthony Van Laast, taking place following the 2:30pm performance on Tuesday 27 August.
TV favourite Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) stars in the show as Fred Graham, alongside Broadway musical superstar and Tony Award winner Stephanie J. Block as Lilli Vanessi.
They are joined by Charlie Stemp (Crazy For You, Mary Poppins) as Bill Calhoun, Georgina Onuorah (The Wizard of Oz, Oklahoma!) as Lois Lane, Hammed Animashaun (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Black Ops) and Nigel Lindsay (Victoria, Shrek The Musical) as the gangsters, and Peter Davison (Dr Who, All Creatures Great and Small) as the General.
The show boasts music and lyrics by Cole Porter, and a book by Bella & Samuel Spewack.
The company of over 50, including a full-scale orchestra, perform Cole Porter classics such as ‘Another Op’nin’, Another Show’, ‘Brush Up Your Shakespeare’, ‘Tom, Dick or Harry’ and ‘It’s Too Darn Hot’.
Directed by multi-Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (The King and I, South Pacific, To Kill A Mockingbird), the creative team also includes choreographer Anthony Van Laast, costume designer Catherine Zuber, and set designer Michael Yeargan.

Our stellar cast really are delivering this summer’s biggest and best musical – and receiving standing ovations at every show. The demand for tickets is so high that we have now added an additional performance to our final week. This really is the hottest show in the West End right now.”
Kiss Me, Kate is playing at the Barbican Theatre until 14 September 2024.
