Death of England: Closing Time is at @sohoplace theatre this Summer.
Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Dune, Bad Girls) and Erin Doherty (The Crown) star in Clint Dyer and Roy Williams’ thought-provoking drama that explores family dynamics, race, colonialism and cancel culture.
Following an acclaimed run at the National Theatre, Death of England: Closing Time will be staged alongside Death of England: Michael and Death of England: Delroy for the very first time in this strictly limited season.
These three interconnected, state of the nation plays are, by turns, exhilarating, profoundly moving, funny but furious, and deeply theatrical. Watch one as a standalone experience or discover the connections between two or three of the plays.
Death of England: Closing Time runs from 22 August to 28 September 2024 at @sohoplace theatre in London
