Mischief theatre’s new show Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle is off on a tour of the UK after its planned West End engagement.

The hilarious magic show is from the team behind long-running West End comedy The Play That Goes Wrong, and recently played a successful run at New World Stages in New York.

Mind Mangler is coming to the West End’s Apollo Theatre this spring 2024, running from 14 March to 28 April.

It will then set off on a UK tour, with dates including Manchester Palace Theatre from 15 May to 18 May, and then Cambridge Arts Theatre, Birmingham Alexandra Theatre, Hull New Theatre, Milton Keynes Theatre, Liverpool Empire Theatre, and finishing at the Theatre Royal Bath from 11 to 16 June 2024.

Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle stars original company members Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer and is based on a character originally created in Magic Goes Wrong by Penn Jillette, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields and Teller. The US company also includes Bartley Booz and Brandon James Ellis.

Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle is directed by Hannah Sharkey, with set design by Sara Perks, costume design by Roberto Surace, lighting design by David Howe, sound design by Helen Skiera, and video design by Gillian Tan. Ben Hart serves as magic consultant, Steve Brown is the composer, and Tom Nickson is the U.K. production manager. Lucas McMahon is the U.S. Executive Producer.

Mind Mangler made its premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022 and was developed into a two-act show for a major UK tour that ran from January 2023 through April 2023.
