A new revival of Harold Pinter’s The Caretaker is coming to Chichester Festival Theatre.
Announced as part of Chichester’s new 2024-2025 season, The Caretaker will play in their Minerva Theatre space from 8 June to 13 July 2024.
Directed by Chichester’s new artistic director Justin Audibert, The Caretaker will star stage and screen star Ian McDiarmid (Star Wars, Faith Healer) as Davies, with Adam Gillen (Amadeus, Benidorm) as Aston, and Jack Riddiford (Romeo and Juliet, Jerusalem ) as Mick.
Joining Audibert in the creative team are design by Stephen Brimson Lewis, lighting design by Simon Spencer, music composed by Jonathan Girling, sound design by Ed Clarke, movement direction by Lucy Cullingford and casting by Jessica Ronane CDG.
The play first premiered in 1960 and was Harold Pinter’s first major success.
