Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera has announced a new booking period in London.
The Phantom of the Opera tickets at His Majesty’s Theatre in the West End are now available to book to 28 September 2024.
The long running show celebrated its 37th birthday in London last week, having opened on 9 October 1986.
When it opened, the show won every major British theatre award, including multiple Olivier Awards. The New York production then opened on Broadway in 1988, winning seven Tony Awards.
Phantom has been seen by over 145 million people since it opened in London, and is the West End’s third longest-running show ever, only behind The Mousetrap and Les Miserables.
The current cast of the musical includes Jon Robyns as The Phantom, Lily Kerhoas as Christine Daaé, Joe Griffiths-Brown as Raoul, Kelly Glyptis as Carlotta Giudicelli, Adam Linstead as Monsieur André, Matt Harrop as Monsieur Firmin, Francesca Ellis as Madame Giry, David Kristopher-Brown as Ubaldo Piangi and Maiya Hikasa as Meg Giry.
The Phantom of the Opera has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart, and additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe. The book is by Richard Stilgoe and Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the novel ‘Le Fantôme de l’Opera’ by Gaston Leroux.
