Check out the best family shows playing in the West End this Christmas 2021.
Taking kids to see a West End show at Christmas is pretty much what the holiday season is all about! And London Theatre delivers in stocking loads this year, with a wide range of Christmas Shows – such as Potted Panto, Pantoland at the Palladium and The Snowman.
There are also all of the musicals running in the West End suitable for children, including Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre; Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward Theatre; Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre; and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical reimagining of Cinderella at the Gillian Lynne Theatre.
In terms of plays, David Walliams’ best selling children’s book Gangsta Granny is live on stage at the Bloomsbury Theatre, Magic Goes Wrong continues at the Apollo Theatre, and a major new stage adaptation of Life of Pi is playing at the Wyndham’s Theatre.
All this plus new circus spectacular Circus 1903 at the Royal Festival Hall.
