There is something very special about heading into the West End in December to see the Christmas lights, and to see a London Theatre show.
The West End serves up a dazzling range of plays this year, from intense drama, to hilarious comedy and nail-biting thrillers.
Major new family entertainment includes the RSC’s new stage adaptation of much-loved animated movie My Neighbour Totoro at the Barbican Theatre; and a sumptuous production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at the Gillian Lynne Theatre.
Long-running plays for families and children include long-runner Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre; hilarious comedy The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre; and imaginative and epic play Life of Pi at the Wyndham’s Theatre.
