Pantoland at the London Palladium

London Theatre opening in December 2021

Our review of the London Theatre shows opening in December 2021 in the West End.

Christmas in the West End is a magical time, with the lights of Regent’s Street and Oxford Street, and a bustling theatre scene.

New shows launching in Theatreland in December include – of course – the annual pantomime at the London Palladium. This year they have pulled out all the stops, and Pantoland at the Palladium promises to be the biggest and brightest yet, starring Donny Osmond, Julian Clary, Nigel Havers and Gary Wilmot.

Also new in the West End in December is Bring It On: The Musical (Queen Elizabeth Hall), Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash-hit Broadway cheerleading musical based on the movie; Gangsta Granny (Bloomsbury Theatre), based on David Walliams’ best selling children’s book; family entertainment The Fir Tree at the Globe Theatre; and Circus 1903 (Royal Festival Hall, South Bank), a spectacular, turn-of-the-century circus for all the family.
