Great new London Theatre opening in the West End in November 2021.
November 2021 is a big month in the West End.
Most of the shows which closed due to Covid have already reopened, except for one big musical that makes its return in November: The Book of Mormon (Prince of Wales Theatre). Welcome back!
But really November is all about the new. And there are some big hitting new things to open. Chief amongst them is Moulin Rouge! The Musical (Piccadilly Theatre). To say there is some anticipation and expectation around the opening of this Broadway, Tony award-winning mega-musical is an UNDERSTATEMENT.
Also new and much anticipated is The Drifters Girl (Garrick Theatre) starring Beverly Knight.
New plays opening in the West End include Life of Pi (Wyndham’s Theatre) andFour Quartets by TS Elliot starring Ralph Fiennes (Harold Pinter Theatre). Also the RSC is bringing its production of The Comedy of Errors to the Barbican Theatre, and Measure for Measure is playing the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
November is also the start of the Christmas season, and festive shows opening up in November include pantomime Aladdin at the Lyric Hammersmith; Christmas favourite The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre; and the return of adult circus show La Clique at the Leicester Square Spiegeltent.
Finally, a big hoorah that The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is making a return to London in November, coming to the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.
